with latest svn, FLASH1M sram games work in gba:

SMA4
[Linked Image from mamedev.emulab.it] [Linked Image from mamedev.emulab.it]

the code is probably not 100% correct (I mapped the 128k in 0-0x1ffff but maybe they are 2 banks mapped in 0-0xffff), but it seems to work

otoh, I have had no luck with the EEPROM problem affecting Super Mario Advance 2 & 3, and Boktai (among the others).
is there any ARM expert around, with some spare time to briefly take a look at what the system is trying to do (when it fails)?

Don't consider Boktai at all, it has a custom device for the "sun acquiring" hence I'm quite doubtful that it'll work in an emu anyway.

it can start even without the sun device: if you try the game in MESS, it fails to create the data (which I think is an EEPROM handling bug). that's why I mentioned it wink

AFAIK VBA supports Boktai, but they just let you set the light sensor readback to whatever you want, which is no fun. I thought setting it based on the hour from your system RTC would be a better-ish approximation.

I can start (Windows 32-bit binary on WinXP) now Super Mario 64 [U] from the command line and all is visible. smile

Have now another problem, after I try to start MESSUI I get a crash. frown
Try now a clean compile ...
