Dear judge,

please can you take a look into the current gbcolor driver ? smile
It seems, something is broken.
You can test: The Legend of Zelda - Link's Awakening DX, The Legend of Zelda - Oracle of Seasons, Legend of Zelda - Oracle of Ages, Lemmings, Lufia - The Legends Return, Joust & Defender, Crystalis, Wacky Races, etc.

All these games are running on the last official MESS version.

The TV Boy uses some sort of MCU in the carts--the system has no processor at all!

I have most of the Cassette Vision carts, but we're not sure how to dump them. That may be an MCU as well.

Hmm, Link's Awakening DX looks normal to me.

Etabeta, could it be an update that you did for the lists that caused some of those games to not work anymore?

nope. Zelda Oracle of Ages and of Seasons worked when I added the lists, as I said when I first reported the problem [1] (they were my testcases for gbcolor)

iirc, they were also working when I added SRAM saving to sgb

I think they both got broken in u2 or u3, but I still have had no time to look for the exact regression

I have given a look at this the last night and for me the problem is not in the driver. At the line 268 of devcpu.c. the CPU registers is added in the m_state_list, only if they have a name and the LR35902_SPEED has not name defined in CPU_GET_INFO. A quick fix is add tihs line in the CPU_GET_INFO

Code
case CPUINFO_STR_REGISTER + LR35902_SPEED: sprintf(info->s, "SPEED:%02X", 0x7E | ( ( cpustate->w.gb_speed - 1 ) << 7 ) | cpustate->w.gb_speed_change_pending); break;

but maybe can be fixed in other way

Clean compile

I have a strange problem with the crvision/manager driver.
If I use any Ui.bdf font, I get a crash after trying load a cart.
Without Ui.bdc/Ui.bdf I can load successful the cartridge.
Strangely, this problem not exist on other drivers !

Same problem exist also with bobz last build.
Can someone confirm this problem ?

I guess it's because of the godawful memcpy cartridge loading hack?
