I can't find the old one...

Positives.. it boots
Negatives.. it runs at 25% speed with no sound (and this fix doesn't seem to make anything else boot)

The old one was like infinite pages anyway smile

Looks good - is the game itself any good?

no... basically it's that 'sonic crackers' prototype thing on the megadrive turned into a full game.

it even has areas where you can get 'stuck' so they implemented a game mechanic whereby every time you swap characters your # of rings decreases by 10, and if it hits -50 the game quits straight back to the title screen?!

like all 32x games, it's not fun, and it just feels like a rushed piece of junk, and many consider this to be the best game on the system (which speaks wonders for the rest of them...)

8-bit accesses to the normal framebuffer area where the data is 0x00 should be ignored. World Series Baseball and B.C. Racers rely on this.

This is slightly odd behavior as there is an area explicitly for this kind of thing, but the real difference is that area can also ignore word writes of 0x0000 whereas the normal framebuffer will treat all word writes as solid data.

Nice. Does Star Wars Arcade run? I recall being fairly impressed by it on hardware many years ago.
