I've got a question.

I'm running SVN9523, and found this behavior a bit of a nuisance. When I start the oric1 driver with messui it every now writes wrong data th othe cfg file.

EG:
Code
<device instance="cassette" directory="c:\Emu\Mess\software\oric1\Tangerine Oric-1 & Atmos - Various - [TAP] (TOSEC-v2006-04-18)\3D Luffar-Schack v1.2 (1983)(-)(en-se).zip\" />
instead of
<device instance="cassette" directory="c:\Emu\Mess\software\oric1\" />
and then if you restart the emu it doesn't read from the cfg file and tries to rewrite it, but ends up writing the same data over.

only solution I found is to remove the file and restart the driver with no image attached and then it writes the correct data

Unfortunately, I forgot how I can load a HardDisk image and/or have access to the files.
I mean not a IDE HardDisk image by using the Nouspikel IDE controller.
Michael, can you help me ? smile

I think the 2nd P1 Button 1 (Joystick 1) should be P2 Button 2 (Joystick2)

Hi Anna,

mounting a hard drive should be possible with the -hard1 option (or 2 or 3). You must use the HFDC disk controller because the other available controllers do not have hard disk support. The device name is WDS1 for the TI systems and HDS1 for the Geneve. So in TI BASIC you should be able to do a SAVE WDS1.SAMPLEPRG or OLD WDS1.SAMPLEPRG. You can create subdirectories with a disk manager; I suggest the Myarc Disk Manager 1.5 (on disk). You can use them like this: OLD WDS1.SOMEDIR.ONEDEEPER.FILE

As for the Joystick 2 I just found that I cannot get input from it. So that may be an issue to be fixed.

Thank you for the answer, Michael. smile
I will check my Harddisk image again.

Do you know why "P1 Button 1" for Joystick 1 is available twice ?

The first two buttons (Button 1 & 2) are the mouse buttons, the last one is the joy button

Fixed names in the latest svn
