Sune: I didn't say not to report it, but be aware that they're going to break a *lot*, especially on non-Windows. Those are corner cases of the build system, nature of the beast.

Moving on: Curt, what kind of floppy images does the Atari ST want? I downloaded a demo from Pouet (Virtual Escape by Equinox) in .msa format (which seems fairly standard) and it says failed load: Invalid image.

Try the images with the .ST extension. For Windows/DOS some tools like the MSA Converter exist. smile
For the Mac you can try Dust

Get the following while compiling the newest svn
Code:
src/mess/drivers/atarist.c: In member function 'void st_state::configure_memory(
)':
src/mess/drivers/atarist.c:2064: error: unused variable 'ram'
src/mess/drivers/atarist.c: In member function 'virtual void stbook_state::machi
ne_start()':
src/mess/drivers/atarist.c:2203: error: unused variable 'ram'
make: *** [obj/windows/mess/mess/drivers/atarist.o] Error 1

Edit: Compiles past this if I comment the 2 lines out

DL for the wd17xx log

SVN r9861

Quote:
Updates to i86 CPU core to fix problem with cirtain combinations of instructions
being flagged as illegal on the i186.
Update to wd17xx to re-add multiple sector writes as required by rmnimbus
Minor updates to the rmnimbus driver to return it to a working state.

About the Nimbus driver fix Im not sure.
It hangs on my build and will not load MS-DOS.
Can be the reason the MAME 0.141 core update or my build ?
Someone can test it, please ? The test software is on FTP for Devs (incoming folder).

SVN r9658

MESS 0.138 (working)

Guess that Judge fixed those ... smile

Mugen no Shinzou:

Murder Club and Laydock are still busted, latter is probably an edge case according to how Takeda patches the game (single disk game that tries to read to drive 3)

Hasn't MAME had screenshot templates forever? I'm pretty sure I remember being angry about having to do special code to support them in osd/sdl at some point.
