No offense, but if you're smart enough to compile MESS you're also smart enough to fix that issue yourself. I'm at work, what do you want me to do, harness my latent telekinetic ability and fix it from 15 miles away?

Edit: Also, for the love of god, would you STOP posting debug-only compile errors without saying that they're debug-only? Because the driver compiles just fine if you pull from SVN and don't go screwing around with the makefile and crap.

I don't see how an uninitialized variable can be DEBUG=1 only, but I don't have that code in front of me either.

And as we just saw in the shout box, some people get angry if you fix their compile errors for them smile

moreover, Curt usually use VS compilers so it can trigger compile bug base gcc does not complain about...

Yes, but the concept is usually that if you aren't using the official compiler you fix the problems yourself. You don't hold people hostage for Apple GCC, and I don't for my experiments with Clang smile
