you mean the pregap / pause - sectors -/- 150 to 0 (depends on what the first track is really).

yes we can / do [scrambled and unscrambled], depends on drive how far you can rip it [all is optional, can be set].

Furthest we have seen is -/- 147 [is current record, set by MSI], but have to say most plextors will only go to -/- 76, but no big deal really smile

Almost all cdi-ready cd's are tested on hardware [450 machine], about 6 or 7 titles I think, all work fine [trurip].

[basically I use 2 of them, 1 with and 1 without video cartridge, have other types also, but like to use the cheap ones to get it to work on]

It lacks support for the CD-ROM controller, basically. The work of the Sega CD should help, but there are still some parts that I'm not sure what is going on.

I found a small error:

The correct one would be only "mickey mania (europe)"

I'd vote to use serials for chd: in this case it should

Code:
<disk name="t-93305-50" sha1="..." />

this would solve for good the name problems...

What are "the name problems" exactly? If the actual volume name of the disc is "mickeyma mania (europe)" (which I doubt since AFAIK that's not legal ISO-9660) then that's exactly what the name should be. After all, the <description> tag is the human-readable name, right?

the current names (for chd) come from whatever setname was used by TOSEC/redump. they do not represent any volume name...

the names used are from the redump/tosec sources, helps show where they came from.

in this case it's clearly a search+replace bug when renaming the sets tho ;-)
