Yeah, as expected ! Thanks for testing! I'll change this in SVN now... however, this assumes at least Qt 4.8!! So whoever still uses Qt 4.7 on Windows / MinGW has to pass 'MKSPEC=win32-g++' to the 'make configure' part of their scripts... or better: update to the new MAME dev-tools + new Qt add-on .

SVN r4305: - new: made a complete rewrite of the sample-checker which wasn't working correctly for ages

![[Linked Image from wiki.batcom-it.net]](http://wiki.batcom-it.net/images/2/2b/Sample-checker.png) See wiki for details! PS: This hasn't been tested on anything non-Linux yet, so be prepared for bugs on other OSs (esp. on Windows).

... you know, Bannister could probably give you your own forum here if you asked (so you wouldn't have this 67+ page thread).

I'm fairly confident if there was a separate QMC2 forum it would just have one 331-page thread. Which is why I haven't pushed too hard about it

Well, I think for new users it would be better to have a more suitable place to discuss QMC2 related stuff than this single thread... so I guess it's basically a good idea to have a dedicated forum. It's just that for me it makes no difference... and yes, I see this thread as a "what's new" topic. However, that's no reason not to establish a new forum . I'll talk to Richard!
