BTW, I started working on it wink.

Done in SVN r2723.

I'll first work on the other request for a tool function to forcedly remove the cache files, then I'll build a new Win32 binary (probably tonight).

Works well and is easy to handle. Thanks. smile

Thanks will try that. just downloaded Win32/qmc2-win32-0.2.b20-SVN-r2726.zip did not work after selecting paths it disapered. When I started it again it says it was already running clicked ignore button shows back up but freezes at 35 percent when loading machines. I'll have to look into to that later might have left something from previous build. Time to go to work
Thanks everyone

Im not sure you used a new MESS SVN 32-bit build. If yes, it can be.
See the discussion about the -listxml error.

Yeah, that sounds like being caused by a "problematic" MESS build... try if "mess -listxml" works on the command line.

@qmc2

Last night i tried the frontend with MAME.
My questions:

1.) Exist a possibility to hide the bios ROMs marked with the ROM state icon (B) in the game list window ?

2.) Exist a way to show and use the same snaphot (preview window) for the clones too ?

Example:

1942 snap can be used for 1942a/1942abl/1942b too

No need for each clone an extra snaphot.

Hi Anna!

1.) No. And it's actually even possible to "start" them, though for most BIOS sets it's not useful. However, for some it is.

2.) Yes. Activate the option "Parent image fallback" on the GUI / Front end page of the setup dialog.

Thanks for your quick answer. smile

1.) Personally, I no need to start any bios.
The only way seems to be to use the favorites window.

2.) Excellent.

megatech currently allows to load the games through software list and it's the only way to load more than a single cart in the system...

Ah, interesting, because I already wondered how to use the megatech soft-list wink.
