Nestopia 1.41.1 unofficial release.

For those of you like me having dual monitors and your TV connected to the secondary display I've now added support for running Nestopia in fullscreen mode on non-primary displays. smile

Binaries and source code can be downloaded from:
https://sites.google.com/site/geestarrawnestopia/

----------------------------------------------------------------
Unofficial 1.41.1 - by Geestarraw (geestarraw@gmail.com) (May 17, 2011)
----------------------------------------------------------------

Shell:

Changes:

- Added fullscreen support for non-primary monitor displays.
- Modified Video Options dialog component layout and added device index to
identify mutiple monitors.
- Refactoring.
- Code documentation.

Fixes:

- Fixed so menu is still displayed after fullscreen monitor to monitor switch.

Project:

Changes:

- Converted solution and projects to Visual Studio 2010.
- Improved version enumeration previously locked to x.xx (exactly 3 digits) to
be anything from y.y, y.y.y, and y.y.y.y (where y can be up to 4 digits).
- Changed build output target to nestopia.exe.

Fixes:

- Fixed bug in version enumeration always excluding highest version number.
- Moved unofficial 1.41 release notes to official changelog file.

Thanks a lot! It works very well here! Changes like these improve the user experience a great deal. My productivity might just take another nosedive wink

Perhaps you'd also be able to incorporate shalma's virtual stereo modifications to make one ultimate build (until c0d3h4x0r returns, at least, or you two might even work together! NEStopia revived, again--it would be great!). I'm talking about these changes here: http://forums.ngemu.com/misc-console-discussion/142046-nestopia-1-41-audio-2.html
Shalma, of course, provided the source in his build.

It's really cool that there's still interest in NEStopia development after all these years.

Nice to hear, gummybear! smile Let me know if you run into any bugs.

Sounds interesting, even though I read the word "hack" a couple of times in the forum post. :P Seems like there are a few of unofficial versions of Nestopia floating around out there. I've actually some thoughts about starting up a new Nestopia project. Would be great to gather around a group of people with interest of improving it.

I'll make a post about the release over at EmuForum as well.

Good news. I hope this fixes the sound de-sync issues that occurs in builds 1.37 and up.

Well, sorry Samurai Fox but unless you're referring to gummybear's link the probability this release fixes any sound issues is quite near 0. This is an add of non-primary monitor support. Nothing more I'm afraid.

Well, looks like I have to stick with 1.36 for a while longer. I do appreciate that builds are still being made for this, so thanks anyways!

Geestarraw, if I provided a list of quirks/bugs and feature requests (all of which are fairly minor except one), would you be willing to spend a bit of time implementing them? I'm not sure how much spare time or interest you have in such. As said they're fairly simple, except one.

Sorry, koitsu, I currently have no plan to do general fixes or improvements of Nestopia. I was first having some thoughts of it but have moved on to other projects instead as Nestopia in its current state is working good enough for me.

But the source is still available. Just dig in! wink
