notice the ' / ' is facing the wrong way for windoze, remember in Linux the slash is opposite direction from windows. Windoze Zinc can't find the roms directory because it's being confused by the slash.
All versions of DOS & Windows I've used work just fine with the normal slash. The only problem you get is with parsing command line options, some programs look for any slash character and assume thats another option.

In old dos versions you could specify a different character to use for parameters and all the commands would then work fine with either slash. That seems to have disappeared nowadays ( a good thing as you couldn't write a batch file that could cope with it ).

It sounds more than just a basic one

If you go to start button then run and type

dxdiag then press enter it will show all your system info.....then in the display tab it will show your graphics device

but I think your right you have a 3 gig processor I only have a 2 gig and Belmont said a while back you need a faster processor for the sound Tekken 3 uses to make it run properly rather than a fast graphic card

Tried that. It says its a Radeon X300 by ATI. Good or not? I wouldn't know. I assumed my kit was standard because I didn't pay very much for it. But then I suppose that the benefit of having a neighbour who works for PC World.

It's not the best card in the world, but you could do worse. Suffice it to say that the X300 has enough horsepower many times over to run any game that ZiNc throws at it. laugh

You're telling me!! Zinc Street Fighter EX 1 & 2 plays so much faster than the PSX version which is exactly what this game needed. Now I can play EX at alpha speed.

Does anyone know of any other cool fighting games for Zinc? I have the Street Fighters and Rival Schools. Is there a Rival Schools 2 for Zinc? I downloaded Soul Calibur but Zinc doesn't seem to recognise it. Will I have to convert it or just use another emu?

Yeah Fighting Layers looks pretty cool. But for some reason my pad won't work with it.

Bloody Roar 2 is great

Dead or Alive++ is good

Ehrgeiz looks great but I havnt played it much because it has slow down on my pc....you should have no trouble so you might like this one

Soul Edge....I love Soul Calibur 2 on my game cube so this earlier version looks primative but is still not a bad game

Soul Calibur that your talking about doesnt work on any emu as far as I know....unless some one got it working

Yeah I remember Bloody Roar. I used to play that on my PSX. I'll give that a go.

I've got Dead or Alive Ultimate for my Xbox so playing an older version will seem a bit lame.

Ehrgeiz is a classic. I have this for Epsxe at the moment and play it quite alot. A Final Fantasy 7 fighting game - genius!!

Thanks guys for all the help. It's much appreciated.
