For some reason when I have EE installed and I load a rom my screen just flickers, it seems that it is having an issue trying to go to full screen mode. My monitor will go black and then flicker back to windowed mode then back and forth until I force quit. When I remove the EE folder from my app support everything loads fine.

Is there any way to have EE installed but force it to stay in windowed mode? I want the joypad support but right now I cant do anything because of this display issue.

Thanks

You have a stuck "Esc" key on your keyboard. Free that up and you should be OK.

I cant think of any way to unstick this key, I normally dont have a keyboard even plugged into to this computer but I paired my BT keyboard that i sometimes use and hit ESC to unstick it. I also tried software solutions via remote desktop and logitechs remote iphone software also to no avail.

Any clue?

Thanks

Hmm, not immediately. The other possibility is that you have a joystick mapping on the full screen key - if you do, try clearing it?

full screen on the joystick is unmapped. I took a shot and installed the previous version of EE and it seems to work. ALthough I am getting video card does not support acceleration errors.

That video card error should only ever happen on a Hackintosh...
