WOW, SMF is trying to achieve the equivalant of the holy grail of PSX emulation! A PSX emulator with perfect root counter timming!

Thats the plan, I'm currently cutting my teeth on something similar. The DMA timing is going to be more of a pain. Nobody has ever done any research into GPU timing.

Saw it. It only works with bin/cue's and not real CD drives so I couldn't get it to do anything. But apparently Lewpy's involved smile

Although I doubt that will stop the rumour-mungers :hmm:
P.s. CD drive support is in there, but seems to only work on limited drives.

And CloneCD is apparently supported, as CCD .img == whatever's .bin. Just no subchannel reading.
