Unfortunately, the PC230's SCSI controller appears to be a WD33C93, which is in dire need of a modern rewrite.

Fortunately, the WD33C93 was holding up the person who is working on emulating the SGI Crimson, and they just wrapped up the rewrite yesterday and will be sending me a diff in the next few days.

I hope for their sake it's being tested on CPS3, or it'll be reverted faster than any commit in history.

it if doesn't work with CPS3 I'd be kinda scared, since AFAIK CPS3 only uses it in the slowest most basic of modes.

It's not been tested on CPS3, because it's a new device which coexists alongside the old one for exactly the reason of you being a cranky old bitch, RB.

I'm not being cranky, I'm just stating the obvious fact that the kiddiepocalypse will occur if CPS3 breaks. And that whoever's doing it ideally should Be Like Patrick(tm) and test it on CPS3 and that Amiga card, but we can do that too smile

ETA: and it's in. Be curious to hear if it helps with the later SGIs any.

I've uploaded material for another special PC clone: The Micromint MPX-16 was a DIY project in Circuit Cellar, but also marketed by Micromint in kit or complete form. It could run headless via serial or expanded with a regular video card and keyboard. According to the documentation, the ROMs contain a CP/M-86 BIOS, but the disk images that have surfaced have a version of MS-DOS 1.25.
