Once this Virus thing is over I'll open an ice cream shop for goths and call it "Fatal Slushware" smile

I finally got a working Schneider Euro XT .. I'll be adding its BIOS and the character generator ROM soon.

It seems that our EuroPC emulation lost its ability to boot between releases 0.205 and 0.206. You need to enter the floppy drive in the BIOS, but the POST screen still claims a disk error.

This of course propagates through to the EuroXT.

Some other things seem to be interesting:

Where the EuroPC driver recognizes a lonely JIM,

the EuroXT doesn't find either JIM nor his lovely wife, SARA. It's expecting their cousin, BigJIM.

Like the Euro PC 2, the EuroXT can dedicate some of its RAM above 640K as EMS, there's a driver that reflects the BIOS settings (512K + 256K or 640K + 128) in the OS environment.

This feature looks like it does in the Euro PC 2, which also uses a BigJIM chip (as does the EuroAT).

Another unemulated feature is the XTA harddisk that is external on a EuroPC, but internal in a EuroXT.

User Simone2013 from the VCFED forums kindly shared the ROM dumps from his Olivetti Prodest PC 1, a quirky little home PC from the late 1980s using a NEC V40.
I've uploaded the files and made a pull request, but it would be great if some kind soul could take a look at this.

John Elliott has some information on the PC 1:http://www.seasip.info/VintagePC/prodestpc1.html

This page http://www.enide.net/webcms/index.php?page=reviving-the-pc1 has some nice pictures.

It boots and loads the OS but the keyboard doesn't work yet. It's got an undumped 8042 kbc (which could be protected) so the keyboard will be inaccurate anyway.
