Greetings MESSers,

I need to emulate the Coleco Adam and I was told that the emulation is broken in the latest version of MESS 0.145 and that I need to go back to version 0.141. Unfortunately I can't find the download link anywhere. The official MESS website appears to have suffered a catastrophe of some sort.

Can anyone post a download link for MESSUI 32-bit 0.141?

Grazie, AntoPISA. I tried MESSUI .141 from the link you provided, but found the ADAM emulation to be inadequate.

However, I finally managed to get the Virtual Adam emulator working.

For our reference, what about it was inadequate?

I guess we are waiting for proper dumps to do it properly?

IIRC we have the right dumps, but Curt was unable to figure out how to hook them up or something.

The thread Tafoid linked to explains it. Basically, there were no menus like in .145, the keyboard didn't work and many programs wouldn't launch. I couldn't really do much of anything.

.145 looked like it had made quite a few improvements to .141, but I couldn't launch any programs at all.
