Very cool.
Actually there is very little I know of those machines, except that some of their games can be super difficult to preserve.
Also, I believe the doujin scene is still very much alive on the PC-98

Doesn’t Tokugawa have links towards machine specific archives hosted on the internet archive? Maybe the mods there can add your files in the pre-existing archives.

I tried playing them on Mame, but it seems to not work, and they work well on emulators MAME is an emulator as well, and additional test cases are always helpful. If you need assistance in hooking them up to the software-list system that MAME has, I'm sure someone would be happy to help!

Well, I was trying to play some of the Sharp X1, Fujitsu Micro-7, Nec Pc-6001MkII, Hitachi S1, Nec Pc-8801, Sony SMC-777, Casio Fp-1100, Sharp Mz-2200 and Pasopia-7 games I have on MAME, but I got no luck. Also how come MAME doesn't support Nec Pc-8001MkII Cassette Tape?

Like JD said anything you can share would help not only on improving MAME emulation, but also on preservation of these systems which most of them are in poor preservation status.
Do you have anything else besides the stuff you uploaded to archive.org? For instance I see you mentioned Hitachi S1 if you could provide some software for it that would be very nice as we only have a couple of games preserved. Same goes for pasopia or smc-777.
Tokugawa is pretty much dead these days so posting here will surely be a better option. I would suggest you to create a dedicated thread for it though.

They used to be thriving. What happened? Maybe they migrated to a discord?

No discord, there were never many active contributors anyway and life starts getting in the way sometimes and people just end up leaving the hobby I guess.
Also after Peter sadly passed away a couple of years ago things have been going slower and slower as he was one of the most active members in there. Also a really nice guy that unfortunately has gone way too soon.
