I'm trying your app for the first time, but it always crash while I'm navigating through the GUI, to be more exact, while scrolling through the top/right menu (where we see Preview, Flyer, Game info, etc).

I'm using:
Windows 7 x64 fully updated;
i7 3770k (no overclock yet);
z77 extreme 4;
onboard video (no video card yet);

Windows pointed to these files (I uploaded it to mediafire):

Is there something else I should describe?

Does it happen when you 'scroll' to a specific detail tab?

Also, please attach the front-end log (%USERPROFILE%/.qmc2/qmc2-mame.log) from after the crash.

I'll look into it tomorrow (too tired now).

BTW, I can reproduce this here: when I hop the detail-tabs quickly, QMC2 crashes occasionally... I don't get this on Linux, though.

Let's see if I can find the cause of it.

Hmmm, seems to be caused by the YouTube widget... it doesn't crash when I disable it.

GDB tells me that the crash happens in some call to QIcon::pixmap(), which is strange, but at least I get reproducible results smile.

I did all I can to find the cause of this, but it actually appears to be just another Phonon back-end issue on Windows. Unfortunately I no longer have a Qt 4.8.2 build to see if it's new since 4.8.3 (which is what QMC2 0.37 comes with). However, I could take the DLLs from an older package perhaps...

So all I can suggest for now is to disable the YouTube player 'detail' on Windows. This should avoid the crash.

Do you steal need the front-end log? I can send it latter if you need.
Thanks for the help. I'll disable the Youtube tab to further test it (I probably wouldn't use it anyway).

No, I don't need the log as I'm able to reproduce it.

OK, I did a smoke test with Qt 4.8.2 and the current QMC2 SVN revision, and guess what: it doesn't crash smile! So it's just another Qt 4.8.3 (Windows-specific) issue...

Feels like you'd better keep Qt 4.8.2 in a corner of your harddisk for a while

Nokia's looking at selling their own headquarters building, so I hope Qt gets stablized quickly smile
