It's fine. Quite in the spirit of other place message when there is no data available (eg. mameinfo, messinfo, etc...)

Well, I had the idea to support more and more different images but unfortunatelly the template area is limited (and I'll avoid the maximum the use of the lateral bar - yes, I want that the final version are Y-relative too).
But the idea to a button to splash the flyer seemmed to be so good, that it's evolved and became a bar in bottom of the template. In MAME that can be used for more images (such GameOver, HowTo, etc.)
Also, that can be used for new things so long they can have support in QMC2, such .PDF manual files or Command.dat...
The website buttons also are in a brand new bar.
I think that is the best that I can do for all of these new features don't leave template so much polluited (and plus, it only will renderize extra external images if the button are clicked, avoiding using band for renderize a lot of images);)

I like the flyer for MAME in the bottom of the template and I think it's absolutely perfect how you have it displayed in link

If people wanna read manuals and other things, it can be done in other tabs. the latest MESS template is beautiful and looks great. It will be a pleasure to use that once it's released.

Wonderful work smile

@B2K24: The templates evolved a lot since the one that you're using smile.
Now are just 1 general template that have different beheavior if is MESS or MAME, and don't 2 different templates.
It also detects if you have or don't the images, if don't, it's get from web smile
About other things, Flyer is better viewed in splash screen, since a small photo you can see all the details.
The best of use the buttons, is that I can program the buttons to appear just if auser alredy have the Flyer (or other stuff), or have in any website database (i'll program the template for look in various).
I'm sure that you you'll like the final result smile

Well, with all of new improvements, I think that will be good to test templates with various users to see the behavior before a launch!

Starting to working in manuals .pdf support
http://migre.me/bbdZO

Ps.: Tested with normal link (there's a lack of button support for now).

EDIT: Yes, a external plugin... For now it's possible to see the manuals only if the user install any pdf browser plugin, but so long PDF viewer come, it will can be viewed in any QMC2 compatible system wink

Oh, nice, using an installed PDF reader plugin...
