I was so happy thinking that PDF viewer made with pdf.js was already working in QMC2 ...
Either way when the support is for pdf come, it will open the PDF likewise, don't will?

So the code should works wink

PDF.js is just the JS library I will be using for this, but none of the "surroundings" exist yet... and yes, both can work in parallel. However, the reader plugin isn't available everywhere...

Nice smile! Although... I've JUST committed SVN r4366 which makes JavaScript actions available to notes-templates as well smile! The latest Win32 VC++ build doesn't include this, though...

A LOT of improvements since last image post, well, so soon I'll detail all of them smile

Ps.: Now the images are fading while loading and the bars on top and bottom are fix, don't matter the height available.
Thanks René for suggesting and implement these features smile

With all the latest changes to the support for notes-templates, I guess it's worth posting a new screen shot of the current example/default system-notes template wink :

@both QMC2 and Shideravan

would it be possible to have the images centred along y axis as well?

I think it would look cleaner

And can I have one of Shideravan's templates to try smile

@ASH: yeah, it's using valign="center" now on all images... also, it's now possible to choose the background mode (default/color/image-tiled/image-scaled), the background color or image, and the text foreground/background colors.

For this I've added two new slots to the notes-editor which you can call from tempate-JS: qmc2NotesEditorObject.getColor() / .getImage(). Both will open corresponding color- / file-selection dialogs and return the HTML color code (#XXXXXX) / path to the chosen file. See wiki for details.
