MAME isn't the only thing with a moving optimization point - Pete's plugins are more demanding now than they were then too :-) And every time we add a code patch to the memory chain it makes ZiNc overall slightly slower. That's why you need to dig up that 573 code - if I patch all the games we'll be slower than MAME ;-)

Yeah, good point. I will dig it out. OTOH I have added the universal system 12 protection hack to ZiNc now, so they can go. You need to finish off the ZiNc cleanup :-) Although I think you're overplaying it a bit, the code is called every refresh. So it's unlikely to get as slow as MAME no matter how many patches you need.

Was that Konami's Greatest Hits on that system?

Also how does a Raedon 9200 stack up as far as a video card?

Refusing to use System 16 just makes you look silly, Paratech. And refusing to read the previous messages in this thread is even worse.

impact used to run fine on a tnt2. Although there are more demanding games now.

I thought that board wasn't going to be supported for a while because it was either still in use or had new games, although from system16, it doesn't look like anything newer than 2001, Salary Man Champ , Kick & Kick , Gun Mania/ Zone Plus exist...

As far as the 9200, I thought it was direct X8.1, I was worried it was a bit low end, compared to what you guys run, but I'm ghetto PCing it...
