MAME isn't the only thing with a moving optimization point - Pete's plugins are more demanding now than they were then too :-) And every time we add a code patch to the memory chain it makes ZiNc overall slightly slower. That's why you need to dig up that 573 code - if I patch all the games we'll be slower than MAME ;-)

OTOH I have added the universal system 12 protection hack to ZiNc now, so they can go. You need to finish off the ZiNc cleanup :-) Although I think you're overplaying it a bit, the code is called every refresh. So it's unlikely to get as slow as MAME no matter how many patches you need. smf

Also how does a Raedon 9200 stack up as far as a video card?

Refusing to use System 16 just makes you look silly, Paratech. And refusing to read the previous messages in this thread is even worse.

I thought that board wasn't going to be supported for a while because it was either still in use or had new games, although from system16, it doesn't look like anything newer than 2001, Salary Man Champ , Kick & Kick , Gun Mania/ Zone Plus exist... As far as the 9200, I thought it was direct X8.1, I was worried it was a bit low end, compared to what you guys run, but I'm ghetto PCing it... :dead:

I plan on putting my 9200 in my 750mhz system when I upgrade the 900mhz system, but it'll be a while....
