Yeah, that could well be. Maybe the ROMs are all 32 Mbit but they only store data in 1/2 of some of them for cheapness reasons. Redumps of 5 & 6 as 16 Mbit have not been promising frown

Just a thought.

I think it's quite obvious from the way the rom is loaded that it's either a bad dump or the board does something similar. It was a last minute change & contacting Guru would have delayed the submission enought that it wouldn't have made 0.83. The contents of the roms appear at the correct address though.

Great work! Any progress in sfchamp? I have read in whatsnew 0.83 that it's stuck in test mode. Was the dump finally correct or had it to be redumped?

Nah, it's been stuck in test mode (in Zinc at least) for a while.

If we do end up needing a redump, it turns out Mish has one, so at least no buying will be necessary.

I hate to be the one that breaks the silence, and I know no news is supposed to be good news, but a week is more then I can bare.

U guys really should have a common W.I.P. page where all of u can state ur progress on :-)

Without any further ado, whats the score so far ?

IIRC there was a WIP page for the old emu, and that didn't fare too well due to hackers, so I doubt that they'd bring it back.

What I would really like is for Mr. Belmont to put up to date the the list of games in 1.0 (Pretty pics from a WIP Page are nice, but I like more to just read the news).

As per the note on my WIP page, if there's nothing posted there than there's nothing going on. I haven't had time to touch Zinc in the last 2 weeks or so. smf did figure out how to get Sonic Wings Limited to boot without dropping into the test menu first, but that's hardly exciting news for more than 2 or 3 people :-)

hey that is good news :shiver: though i'm still holding out hope that Soul Calibur (namco sys-12) becomes playable someday. But I am happy that the sound works in M1 according to the M1-hit-list smile

I'd be excited if it could be done without a hack.
