New unofficial WIP Win32 version (for testing purposes only!) of the Qt CHDMAN GUI (Standalone)
Now Dump Meta-Data, Add Meta-Data and Remove Meta-Data from a CHD supported.

Yeah, those functions are reportedly broken in base chdman, that's not such a great idea to expose them in qchdman smile

Too late wink. Also, at least "dumpmeta" works for me, and the rest should be fixed then smile.

They're "Aaron use only" things, and so probably won't be fixed any decade soon.

Well, I've actually even tried "delmeta" and it worked in my simple test-case, be it useful or not... but if things are not expected to change anytime soon (I hope not decades, though smile ) I should probably hide them in qchdman for now as you suggest. But I don't think it really matters since the GUI doesn't expose anything the user wouldn't see in case of the command line.

BTW, I've promoted Qt CHDMAN GUI to non-WIP status in SVN (r4728) since it meanwhile supports all chdman commands and seems to work stably for everyone.

Also, when you select one of the predefined (real world) disk geometries, CreateHD will now auto-select "none" for compression although that's not the actual default (assuming the user is going to create a writable HD CHD for some MESS machine this should avoid such mistakes).

Only if you select a predefined parameter from the template and not for the manual input.
Maybe the none compression should default immediately after choosing "Create an HD from an input file" to avoid an confusion.

Well, then it could default to none in any case smile.
