Nice. There's that one open-source emulator where they pretty much rewrote Aaron's CoJag blitter to run all the games, that oughta be good reference smile

eta> I think 'working' is pushing it. The only game that really seemed to work without major problems (although had no sound) was Pinball Fantasies ;-)

and yes, I agree, the handling of things in the Jag driver is reversed. Considering it's one of Aaron's drivers it's absolutely shocking in places the way it abuses the MAME systems, direct memory accesses, allowing ROM to be overwritten etc., had I not known I'd swear some of it was done by Acho ;-)

If I'm not mistaken, a malformed / invalid / badly handled blit operation right now can erase RAM, ROM, IO, or even completely crash MAME because it's simply getting a direct pointer to whatever region is involved, no matter how wrong the calculation might be.

CoJag should have been build on solid Jaguar foundations, not the other way around. It will need work, but we'll get there eventually ;-)

With recent Ville fixes, here's what nobody said:

Cannon Fodder (working now)

... even though, that "error" at top looks weird. Are we sure that the EEPROM works correctly in this system?

Fight For Life now shows this garbled screen, guess it's again the pitch issue.

EEPROM is broken in Rayman as well. I don't think it's hooked up, or not hooked up properly at least.

Club Drive now allows you to play it for a few secs and then dies:

Double Dragon V has SFX sounds (no BGMs). Same goes for Troy Aikman Football.

Super Cross 3d now shows the title screen, still hangs tho:

Ditto for Iron Soldier weapon select menu (hangs after that)

There's a bad timer somewhere that's used for the BGM in Raiden - that game would be perfect now if it weren't for that.

Ultra Vortex "works" now, without BGMs and some GFX issues:

White Men Can't Jump now shows a title screen then dies due of audio DSP:

Hacking it and ...

... still asserts (haven't checked the cause)

Last one:

Air Cars, now shows a blue-y gradient background (with "Unhandled bitmap source depth = 7" message)
