OK, please try SVN r4776 and let me know if it still crashes for you.

Just compiled and tried, It no longer crash grin The only thing that I noticed, is the first time you double click it doesn't respond to it, but it's much better than it was previously

Glad to hear that smile! The behavior is expected when the situation that's bothering QMC2 is happening at the time you double-click... the event is then simply ignored to avoid the crash. I'll see if I can somehow work around this, but I don't feel it's very important (since it usually happens very rarely, at least for me).

SVN r4777 fixes that as well. It's no longer eating the double-click event but postponing it shortly in such a case.

One thing I found:

when pressing the new device button, it no longer clears the devices. Thus if you have a entry with a CD in, after pressing the new one, it leaves the old CD still in the CD Slot.

Now that I'm looking into it I doubt that it worked correctly before smile... there's actually more wrong than just the clearing of device-maps. Also the slot-configuration has to be reset to the default one when a new configuration is made which it apparently didn't do before.

Can you say under which circumstances this happened? Activating a specific style or style-sheet, or when playing with the palette? As QMC2 is for example not using QPainter::drawPoints() directly I suppose it's caused by the style...
