Any Idea why it would load like this and stay that way?

Please use "-console window" to see if there's an error or warning message logged... my guess is that the "QML imports" aren't found.

Thanks goes to Pete Beardmore for the nice graphics. smile
Is it possible to make the themes (ToxicWaste/DarkOne) selectable by using the internal preferences menu as alternative for the parameter on the command line?
Maybe a restart is necessary then.

Anna: yeah, I was thing about that (yesterday), too... right now it has to be done "outside" of the QML theme, though, since the theme has no idea of other themes smile. It's the C++ part of QMC2 Arcade that knows about it.

Anyway, it could be done of course... I'll see if I can do it before the 0.39 release, but I can't promise -- if all goes well on the MAME/MESS team side (despite the current "wars" going on there) the release will be soon.

One way of doing it without changing too much would be to select the theme that was chosen in the main front-end's setup for QMC2 Arcade as the 'default' theme...

Ren, just saw your screenshots.
In your screenshot the cabinet is fully visible.
Was this a snapshot in time?
Is it dependent on the used OS?
Is it dependent on the used Qt version (I use 4.8.4)?

No matter which setting I use, only a part of the cabinet is visible. See my previous screenshot or the screenshot below.
If I start the Arcade Mode launcher, the cabinet is fully visible for a very short time and then it is increased (zoom effect) immediately.
