I've noticed that Taekwondo by Human software stopped working in the latest MESS version. It could be a regression, since it was working fine before...

Between 0.149 and u1? I don't think anything changed in SNES there, so that's surprising.

I'm going to double check it later today and see if I get it to work. Maybe my config files are corrupt.

Just an FYI, there is some slowdown in certain parts of Super Mario World. The stage with the water and the flying sharks(not the totally underwater stage, but the one where you can kinda just fall off and swim for a bit and then jump back up) for example.

The developers of MESS have my sincere gratitude. Thank you guys.

If I remember right, that level could get choppy on real hardware.

Vanilla Secret 3, and they're dolphins, not sharks.

Should I believe you? You're the boss of the fortress levels!

SMW *is* on the edge on real hardware on some stages. It's why nearly all of the hacks that add MOAR STUFF invariably run on ZSNES but fail on hardware.

Confirmed, Taekwon-Do is not working with the latest official 0.149 MESS version. It gives a black screen and nothing else, and it was working fine before, I just don't know which version broke it since I didn't play it very often lately. All my other games seems to be working fine.

bringing back the thread from death because I've converted also SNES input devices to use the slot code in the core. this allowed me to clean up some annoying errors and to support a few new things

First of all, now multitap games recognize 5 controllers as they are supposed to, allowing 5 friends to play Super Bomberman

and the sports game who supported the adapter, e.g. Madden 98

Moreover, as in the NES case, I have added support for the Barcode Battler unit and Conveni Wars Barcode Battler Senki has functional PvP option at last

+ I've added the Twin Tap and the Pachinko controllers smile
