Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd chime in here and let everyone know I'm alive and well. smile
Christmas is nearing and I got nostalgic the other day and started thinking
about my past work on Nestopia.

It's been several years but I'm happy to see that this forum is still alive
and kicking.

It amazes me that Nestopia still seem to be somewhat relevant. Looks like it's going
down the same path as Nesticle. Not sure if that's a good thing or not. Probably not. smile

Richard, R. Belmont, everyone else. Just wanted to thank you guys for still being around and making
the world a better place with your work on emulation! smile

Cheers,
Martin "Marty" Freij

I don't think you can compare Nestopia and Nesticle. Nesticle stayed relevant DESPITE its accuracy (or lack thereof) while Nestopia has stayed relevant and popular because it still has what is quite possibly the best overall package while having top-notch accuracy.

I've stayed with Nestopia (and now with the unofficial continuation) for that very reason, myself.

Marty! I'm glad you're well, and NST still has a lot to offer today like Firehawke said smile It's not really the Nesticle situation where better emulators are being ignored.

Thanks for making an amazing emulator, and thanks also for releasing it under a license that allows it to be continued.

Getting to this party a month late...
But HOLY CRAP, Marty!

WOW...So cool. Hope you've been well...Long time, no talk. Hope you remember me...See v1.20 notes...LOL.

Nestopia is nothing like Nesticle. It just needed a tune-up for a few things... http://0ldsk00l.ca/nestopia/

Nesticle was awesome for its time, but highly inaccurate. Your emulator is still the bar for many because of its accuracy.

Man, wish I would have caught this thread sooner.

Hi Marty!!! You are disappeared so suddenly causing to worry this forum.
I'm glad you're all right now.

Nestopia is slowly dying, and it's sad.
Can we hope for you come back?

Anyway, thank you for Nestopia and old-good XM-modules.
The "Last Sunset" is my favorite tracker module all-time!
