What these do in the "CORE SCREEN OPTIONS"?

minimum_width 0
minimum_height 0

Zoom in or out effect or something?

I've only just tried them with SDLMESS and SDLMAME... seems that they control the initial minimum size of the display window.

Hmmm, these options appeared again in SVN latest (r29652)... is this intentional or will they disappear again smile (as they did in the last dev-cycle)?

Also, the default for 'confirm_quit' is now '1' (true). Will it stay this way? I've no problem with updating QMC2's emu configuration templates, but I wouldn't like to add/change stuff that's expected to be "volatile"...

I think most people will be turning that to '0' (I know I did, having it on is highly irritating). As for what the default will be, nobody knows yet...

It's for the new menus. Essentially, drivers with low-resolution screens like a2600 and gameboy now have to lie about their screen size to prevent the menus from going all wonky in Windows DirectDraw mode and becoming unusable.

(And Nathan promised that the new UI would be less entangled with the actual emulation than the old one...)

Thanks, RB, that's the real answer to my question smile.
