Low level formatting and root filesystem creation done. Now to see if it'll boot.  And it does.

Congrats on getting another *IX running on MESS!  Now I may need to hotwire nscsi in ways OG won't like so I can boot A/UX.

Got the system installed, still a bit flaky though. It seems to occasionally hang when starting to access the floppies. When I can resolve that, I'll make a writeup of the install process.

Apple IIgs now supports the semi-popular sport of rewriting the palettes on a raster IRQ to get a theoretical 3200 colors on screen at once.

About Commodore, they had indeed plenty of small variations among models and it's been a pain to sort them out. It could well be that a few of the duplicate sets will be removed later, if there was really no difference between them. However, if you find any mistake please report it, I could have easily overlooked or misunderstood some of the sources. I already organized them when I rewrote all of the 8-bits. The PET line has different memory sizes and 50/60 Hz video based on region.
