Some svga adapters supported a linear framebuffer over ISA, configured between 1MB and 16MB (the limit of ISA, the one in the screen shot at 64MB wouldn't be addressable).

Yeah i figured as much, do note i only said the utility ran not that it worked properly.

I am no longer sure of its origins other than smf found it online and shared it December 2011, swaaye uploaded it here 02/2012. Surely both came from the same source. Originally titled db019b.zip.

Fixed a silly bug that resulted in video modes using more than 1MB of VRAM to not be completely rendered.

This place is cool i've been here a number of times. Most of the Video BIOS dumps are probably fine they do have internal checksums that BIOS checks for and fails to post if it's bad. As for being incomplete Usually it would just be 00 fill padding at the end and if not BIOS will fail to post. But yea it's generally not a good idea to flash BIOS's from unofficial sources.

Not sure when or if they last worked (in .152 they had a keyboard error) but the amstrad pcs boot now.

Good work. Most of issues is introduced due to a fact all was in one driver and then one change affected all, and those are different machines. Also it's much better now since things are separated for maintenance point of view.

I'm trying to hookup a Voodoo 1 in at586 i based changes on funkball.c. I think i'm close to getting it compiled just can't figure out where the remaining bits of code should go.

I'm pretty sure even if it compiles it won't display anything. But i want to see if at586 is stable enough to install the drivers and what the performance would be like. changed at.c is in the link below if anyone can give me some tips.
