Hi everyone smile I'm a big long-term fan of MAME & QMC2 so thanks again to everyone involved smile

May I make a suggestion ?

As of today, I still use the main QMC2 GUI and not the arcade one as it's so much more complete (but maybe one day).

What I feel is that there is so much space on the screen that is a little wasted (when I invite people at home for instance and make them use it).

For instance, by default one can see a snapshot or whatever in a subwindow. And there is by default a log in another one. Would it be possible to have several previews and/or more subwindows ? Or 2 different previews instead of a preview + a logfile...

Also, on our huge screen, the screenshot often look like crap ;-), would it be possible to add an optional "scanline" filter to the preview ? Or maybe support the .mng used in AdvanceMAME ?

Well, I'm very well conscious this is all very personal and that you do this on your space time, so I hope not to sound like a spoilt kid smile

Thanks again for everything !!

1) Well, you can customize the main GUI's widget positioning / sizes quite a bit... see here and here for details.

I'm not sure I get all of what you're suggesting / requesting, though.

2) What screen shots are you talking about?

In case you're just interested in "seeing more artwork / infos at once", note that there are also system- and software-notes for this purpose...

Thanks smile Ah yes, system-/software- notes seems to be what I'm looking for !

I wasrefering to games snapshots which are, obviously, very low-res in a huge qmc2 window smile

Thanks again smile

Did you set up (smooth) scaling? Of course, it has (quality) limits but should basically work fine...
