Ok, I have rearranged them a little : https://mega.nz/#F!2RhSDQAZ!uTZngz0KrNm5Azqtc0WcsQI had previously aligned them looking at the actual unit that I own, guess it's a bit misaligned itself... I suspect that, due to the physical separation between layers for the 3D effect, it may not be entirely possible to get a 100% exact alignment without resizing the layers on top or using a 3D renderer which takes that separation into account.

Great stuff! Squish hasn't been simulated before, nor put in one of Nintendo's remake collections. @Iceknight if you're reading, I'll take care of this one, thanks =) Ok, external artwork is ready: https://tsk-tsk.net/net/extart/gnw_squish.zip

I put up some videos of this running in MAME to promote the progress https://youtu.be/HWnRum09f1Mhttps://youtu.be/rMux5Xceqj8nice to see it running, wonder why this one got left behind. You can understand Nintendo not wanting to bring Blackjack forward (gambling, regulations, generally dull game) but this is genuinely decent. Maybe nobody remembered how the maze algorithm worked for doing a reproduction?
