I don't know that game, it's not emulated.

Do any of you have it by any chance? If it ends up preserved for posterity I’d be a happy camper.

It's not insanely expensive on ebay (If you consider how much sellers normally try to charge for these games I guess...):

Or a cheaper clone:

Seems to be the same game, but with a different overlay. These are probably clones of a game from another manufacturer though. Of course without knowing the chip it uses it's always a gamble buying it since it might not be possible to dump it.

I completely reworked how the layering is done so the transparency looks much better now. It is set to 50% (as shown in the picture) but you can increase how much black shows through by reducing the color alpha number and vice versa.

I should also mention that I made a full unit view for the Table Top Mario's Cement factory. It's not super clean like Hydef's work but it should suffice for now.

yeah, that looks better, you can actually tell the arrows at the top of the bottom screen are arrows now.

I've noticed that between this version and this one, some things were modified to make them "look better", which makes the latest version less faithful to its source.

Wouldn't it be possible to set the original front layer's render properties to "Multiply", so that the raster scan doesn't have to be replaced?

Are you talking about the cleanup work to the images or how the layers were handled? For the layering I tried to make it as the real game is but when I reduced the opacity on the the top layer the color was drastically reduced as well. This was the solution I came up to keep the colors but allow the transparency effect to work properly.

That's why I'm asking if it wouldn't be possible to apply a "Multiply" property to the front layer, so that the original scan would keep its colors and not have to be replaced with a (slightly-different) vector interpretation of it.

It was always set on multiply. I tried the other options and they didn't help. It works fine if you aren't reducing the opacity. I put a "Pinball Raw Images" folder on the drive if you want to play around with it or prefer that look.

OK, I see what you are talking about. I can try playing around with that when I have some time.
