Nice to see the Mattel Sports games being added! Seems you ended up adding COPS I emulation in the process eh? Great stuff!
Pretty awesome to get Black Knight Pinball preserved too, that's a rare one. I can't check right now, but is Entex Raise the Devil already preserved btw?

MM5799 is not a commonly used MCU on handheld games, with so little to test it with I'm glad it is emulated pretty much bug-free. It's also used on the Sinclair Cambridge Programmable: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ERJYPZCWsAERJuI.jpg

Hmm, looking at this patent: https://patents.google.com/patent/US4582323AThe Mattel Look Alive Football seems to be a COP421L. Can those be dumped non-destructively? I found a couple of these in storage so I can probably share one if needed... Then if someone can just follow the flowchart and program this one: https://patents.google.com/patent/US4395760AWe could have a game that was never released...

A COP421 chip, yeah. But knowing Mattel's early handhelds, they may have plonked the MCU die straight onto the PCB, then it can be harder to dump non-destructively.

Yeah, I was trying to find a picture of the circuit board, but I don't have one handy. I'll get the game this weekend and take a look.

Rik, any update on those games you were going to ship to kevtris? I'm looking forward to finally see the whole Select-A-Game library preserved.

Ahh, no, forgot all about them... I'll get them boxed up this week, hopefully to ship either over the weekend or early next week. Still have only found Pac-Man though. Found the Basketball manual, but still haven't found the cart...

Looks like the die is on the PCB directly, but covered by a plastic cap that looks like it can be easily removed... So maybe...?
