The handheld version of Konami Chequered Flag has now been preserved in MAME

The game is presumed to use the same MCU as Bill Elliott's NASCAR Racing but it hasn't been confirmed.

If you scan the inlay at a 90 degrees angle, does it look less dark? AFAIK that's what Sean did for some of the Konami bg inlays.

I tried different orientations and this was the best I could get from the scanner. It was even darker when oriented differently. I can try to use another scanner or take a photo of the inlay to see if that results in a better image.

Sean scanned the LCD for Nelsonic Super Mario Bros 3, which is now playable:


And Milan dumped/added Tronica Treasure Island, and 2 Elektronika handhelds.
Maybe he could post screenshots, I don't want to steal his thunder. Besides, I don't have all the roms yet.

The tri-screen game is based on the SM511 and looks like this:

Uchitel' arifmetiki (Учитель арифметики, Arithmetic teacher) by Elektronika has now been preserved in MAME.

The game is based on the Soviet clone of the SM511 and looks like this:


There is no evidence of a real unit yet. Only two hardware parts are available at the moment: PCB with chip, and LCD.
As the device did not come into mass production, it's considered to be just a prototype.
The game title is not fully determined. An old magazine mentions a game called "Учитель арифметики" and this reference was used as the most likely name for this game.

Vesolaya arifmetika (Весёлая арифметика, Amusing Arithmetic) by Elektronika has now been preserved in MAME.

I really didn't think tronica triple screen games were SM511 based, that was pretty cool.

I think JD owns (hopefully still has it) a Monkey King unit (the other triple screen game) so maybe he could loan it in order to get it dumped?
