I've been waiting so long for Zinc 1's release that I forgot what features it's supposed to have!!!!!! :duh:
Ok that's a dumb thing to say so that's not what my post is about :p :p :p
All the piracy that's been going on has left a bad taste in everyone's mouth, and seeing how compatible and stable MAME is there's no excuse not to get PCB's of old arcades, which are affordable for people with $150-$300 budgets. I'm getting a PCB of one of my old childhood favourites - Chase H.Q which is a great Taito car game and also my first Amiga game - Ah the memories!
I wanted to know if Zinc 1.0 will have the same level of stability as MAME and wether it will work on a PC with the same requirements (disregard 3d accelerator, just the RAM+CPU).
If Zinc 1.0 is on that level for Tekken Tag or Ehrgeiz I'll get their PCB's.
I guess Tekken Tag is the most ambitous attempt at an arcade emulation title yet so is that what's holding the emu back?
Do you have a date after which you will vow never to release the emulator ?
Also can multiplayer LAN support be implemented?
