I don't know if I'm doing something wrong,but, I can't seem to get any version of the Mac System Software to report more than 18.6 MB of usable hard drive space. I've tried every
combination of cylinders, heads, and sectors when creating the hard drive to no avail.This happens no matter which Mac model I choose. Is this a known issue or has something regressed?

I just tried it with the steps and copy-pasting the example command lines here: https://wiki.mamedev.org/index.php/Driver:Mac_68K and the disk was recognized as having 501 MB. Latest MAME, latest CHDMAN.

I knew I was missing something! I didnt create it as an uncompressed CHD.

Never-mind, that wasn't it. I literally copied the command as-is from the tutorial and it's still only seeing an 18.6MB capacity.

Are you using an official version of MAME built using the official way, or are you using that weird build with -march-native and AVX2 and various other unsupported bells and whistles?

Also, maybe you could try providing screenshots of exactly what you're doing, because it works fine on my end as well.

So, apparently it only formats properly if you use the Apple Legacy Recovery CD. I just tried that and it read the full capacity. I guess I just missed that part of the tutorial.
You can just put this one down to a 1D10T error.
