I was under the impression that the ACT Apricot XI is very loosely based on the Victor 9000/ACT Sirius 1 somehow? (both use an unusual 10x16 font I think, see http://dwarffortresswiki.org/images/2/29/Vintl01.png for the Victor 9000/Sirius 1 font)
