I have been offered a HP9830A calculator with an extra 9865A tape drive and a plotter. I don't know about option roms, but I was promised tapes with some programs.
There http://sourceforge.net/projects/hp9800e/ is an emulator that covers the 9800 range including some peripherals, but I haven't been able to run it yet. The download includes ROM dumps.
What's the opinion on that machine for inclusion in MAME?
