So i'd like to ask: is there a standard procedure?
I'd say the best action would be to create raw flux dumps with one of the many hardware dumpers that support it (KryoFlux, DiscFerret, ...) with at least a couple revolutions for each track, and from that you should be able to reconstruct any disk format and/or copy protection out there.
