It can be improved. But to me, what we have is good enough, not worth hours of work. I won't stop you(or anyone) making a better .svg though
*edit* here's a short how-to: - save lcd_powered image to bmp, black segments on white background - adjust brightness/contrast/gamma to get best result - get potrace http://potrace.sourceforge.net/ , use it like: potrace -s image.bmp
The result image.svg will have gaps and rough edges. These need to be manually cleaned up in inkscape, it's a lot of work. Oh, and the "PM" and clock digits can be copy-pasted to create 18:88 instead of 12:00. And finally, segments need to have ID(coordinates) in their titles, under object properties in inkscape.
I'm sorry if I came off as demanding anything! I got the impression that what you did with ML-102 was a matter of minutes rather than hours since you were so quick.
I could definitely have a go at this if noone else does, but it will be 2 weeks from now. Thanks for the instructions! I could definitely see myself getting lost in manual tracing - that's the kind of OCD that got me here in the first place...
