What I do is draw markers on the die photo where the rows and columns are(MS Paint FTW). Then use a script to place a blue blip on every bit. I resize the metal die pic to the exact same size of the acid one and apply the same. Then manually check the acid-with-blips die for errors 4 rows at a time. If there are any smudges, or the acid die pic is in bad shape, do the same with the metal one. On average, it takes about 1hr per SM510 die.
