If they had enough space to keep the cheats in, I'm sure they could have removed this 'feature' too :P You can control the main char in Egg/Nu pogodi after game over as well btw.
*edit* bah, of all videos I checked on Youtube, everyone obediently lets go of the controls after game over *edit2* finally found someone doing it with Chef
