To be fair, it's more of a mixed bag of feedback than you let on. There's positive feedback, there's (valid) negative feedback, there are people who apparently took 3 weeks to get MAME set up (most likely, if anything, due to the profusion of outdated and outright wrong guides out there), and then there are some questionable takes about running full-fat MAME on an earlier model of the Raspberry Pi than the 4. That last one is something I don't see realistically happening given the overhead of a cycle-exact 6502 core combined with the sheer number of other devices that need scheduling.
