A lot of CD systems are still distributed as ISO + 128 kbit MP3, which isn't a whole lot better.
Incidentally, some of the Blue Stinger songs have real endings, after which there's a brief pause before they start over. The current time tags make them play completely through twice and then fade out when the third time starts, which sounds a little weird.
