Spent my full day to rewrite the uPD7220 vram to be 8-bits wide (like it should anyway). Got shared VRAM writes to finally work in PC-9801 (as shown in this pic). And yes, the black dots are due of quirkness in the BASIC function itself and not a video emulation bug.
