I found the Amstrad CPC versions to be quite playable back in the day, the SH2 port attempts to look more like the original in terms of graphics, but the SH port has more fluid gameplay.
The X1 version is just odd, most it it looks like some terrible emulation glitches, but it's just the same on real system videos :-)
