To be fair, there's not much else left to do in terms of actual NES emulation though. And NST works fine while eta gets MESS in range.

Not necessarily asking if he's ever going to release an update, but just asking out of curiosity if he had been heard from at all. As for Nestopia, its still the best NES emulator, but would be nice if sound de-syncs and input lag problems that some of us experience were addressed. There seems to be some core improvements since 1.36 (new mappers, PPU fixes for example) which would make it a shame to have to roll back to an older version. MESS will probably be all thats left in the future for console games, but dedicated emus for consoles seem to do the job much better.
