Another modification that I saw physically in Brazil was the version of Mortal Kombat 2 (which was called Mortal Kombat III (sic), if I'm not wrong).
In begin of game, it shows a rudimentar video abou Killer Instinct and in select charachter screen, all bosses and secret characters was selectable...
